Dr. Fernando Noronha has received his bachelor’s degree in dentistry from the Government Dental College & Hospital Ahmedabad in 1983 and proceeded to attain his masters degree from the same college affiliated to prestigious Gujarat University in 1985. During his graduate studies he received gold medal for securing the highest marks in the orthodontia at the University level as a well as prize for ranking 2nd in his University Bachelor’s program. He began and has maintained a private clinical practice in Panjim Goa since 1985 with emphasis on family, cosmetic, Endodontic and Implant dentistry.Position :- Principal Dentist
In his commitment to stay current in the dental field Dr. Noronha constantly attends conferences, continuity dental education programmes as has trained with pioneers in the field including Dr. Carl Mich. Dr, Cemal Ucer, etc. He continues to present scientific papers at numerous National and International conferences and has won prizes there. His paper on ‘FERRPOST’ has been well accepted & acknowledged. He also publishes articles in dental magazines & journals. He is on the panel of doctors for Indian Airlines & Air India. Dr. Noronha is a member of Federation of Operation Dentistry of India (FODI) and Indian Endodontic Society (IES). A life member of the Academy of Implantology { A.I. } and the Indian Academy of Laser Dentistry ( I.A.L.D ). He is a proud member of American Association for Aesthetic Dentistry (AAAD). He is also actively involved with the Goa Dementia Society.
Hobbies & Interests
Dr. Fernando Noronha is a son, husband, father and good friend. Dr. Noronha is interested in photography and handicrafts. Working with natural materials (glass, jewellery, stone, wood etc). He enjoys the outdoors & has travelled most of the world mainly with his family. He is a core member of the offroad team – 4 x 4 Trails.
