Dr. Jayant Dehadrai has a private practice in ahmedabad since 1975. He earned his B.D.S. in 1972 and his M.D.S. in 1974 in the speciality of Orthodontics from The Dental College & Hospital, King George's Medical College, Lucknow. He has the unique distinction of being trained in the edgewise technique, which is the pre cursor of the straight wire or pre adjusted edge wise.

Dr.Jayant Dehadrai has held many presitious positions in the dental profession and outside it. He has served as the president of the rotary club of Ahmedabad. As chief functionary of The Indian Orthodontic Society he left an indelible mark on the profession during his term as hon secretary 2002-2006.

He has served as a clinical professor of orthodontics at The K.M Shah Dental College, Vaghodiya, vadodara dist. Presently he is faculty at the department of orthodontics, college of dental sciences and research center manipur, ahmedabad.

He is chief of faculty at the Indian Institute of Orthodontics at Ahmedabad.

He has served as key note speaker at innumerable scientific conferences of the dental profession in india.
