Ambookens Speciality Dental Clinic (ASDC), the first clinic in Alleppey District which got ISO 9001-2001 certification was born out of the dedication and commitment of Dr. A.V. Jose and his team towards innovative concepts in dentistry. The clinic is designed to render high quality dental services within the common man's reach.

ASDC was established in 1997 at Chandiroor located on the NH- 47, in between Alleppey and Cochin, two of the tourism hot spots of Kerala. In 2004 ASDC started functioning in its new premises at Aroor. The clinic has incorporated the international concept of green, yellow and red  areas. Green area is the waiting area (reception), yellow area for storage of baggage and wash area (passage) and the highly sterile red area, the clinical area. Red denotes the area is free of contamination due to meticulous sterilisation and disinfection procedures and it is safe to undergo any dental treatment there.

At ASDC, we practice gentle dental care, putting our patients at ease during treatment. We provide all Dental treatments at affordable rates in a comfortable and clean environment. Different specialties of dentistry like Periodontics, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Oral and Maxillo Facial Surgery, Implantology, Pedodontics, Cosmetic Dentistry and Restorative Dentistry are all provided here. The presence of a Microbiologist in our team due to which we have very stringent and meticulous sterilization and disinfection processes.

Infection Control Policy  
Infection control is of prime importance in our practice as it is our responsibility to ensure the safety of our patients. Every member of our team have received training in this aspect and the policy is strictly adhered to.The presence of a Medical   Microbiologist in our team ensures that stringent sterilization and disinfection  process are strictly followed.

• We use only disposable items wherever possible.
• Other Instruments are first cleaned, then sealed in autoclavable pouches and sterilized by autoclaving ( steam   under pressure).
• Each set of instruments are opened from pouches in front of the patient.
• All our staff use personal protective gears like gloves, eyewear and  masks that are changed after each patient.
• All our clinical surfaces are nonporous and are disinfected in regular  intervals.
